Good day!
When I have a Bluetooth speaker system paired to my computer, touchjams says it's playing songs but there is no sound and music graph shows it's playing. System sounds are playing through the bluetooth speakers fine, just not touchjams sounds/music.
Anyone else run into this? Is there a fix?
Thanks!

Search "BLUETOOTH" in the forums and you may find some info to help you.
Change the DEFAULT sound device in WINDOWS to Blutooth.
Change the DEFAULT sound device in TOUCHJAMS to Blutooth.

I'm having the exact same problem. System sounds through bluetooth but no music.
I've been auditioning different touchscreen jukebox software all week and this is easily the best I've seen. I just need to hash out this issue before purchase. Thanks.

That was my thread so I can sympathize with your troubles. One windows laptop worked and the other never had and apparently never will Wish I had answers for you but I believe it's a windows bug not touchjams

A bunch of BT issues were fixed in the next version beta release (update to latest media engine, rewrite of device output handling). This is available for download under the News section on the TouchJams website.

Try a free program called Voicemeeter. I have used this syncing my jukebox speakers with bluetooth speakers. May be able to help you out.

Has anyone confirmed that the BlueTooth issues have been fixed in the Beta release? I did quite a bit of testing and didn't see any issues.
Thanks - Bob Matura

Has anyone confirmed that the BlueTooth issues have been fixed in the Beta release? I did quite a bit of testing and didn't see any issues. Thanks - Bob Matura I'm on 3.5.2.1 Std. Not a beta build, but does my version include those fixes? If not I'll give that a shot along with updating the BT driver to the manufactures latest release. I believe I'm on a generic windows driver I just bought my 2nd copy of Touch Jams to setup a tablet and I'm getting that failure to initialize audio -100 error when launching using a paired BT speaker. Audio in Windows and web browsers works fine using the BT speaker. If I could get past that error and change the sound device in Touch Jams that may help, but it closes after that error. For reference the speaker is a W-King X10. I believe it's BT 5.0. I think they're all backwards compatible with earlier version of BT. Anyway, please let me know and I'll test it.

I updated Bluetooth and audio drivers as well as updated to the latest beta build of Touch Jams. I can now get into Touch Jams, but hear no audio. This is after selecting the device in windows as well as in Touch Jams. I also tested by setting it as the default and selecting the "choose the default sound device" in Touch Jams. I did all this and hit "restart audio engine". No luck. I was hoping this tablet would stay sleek on the wall, but I'm worried I'll have to buy a BT dongle for this.
I don't think it's an issue with the driver or Windows. It works fine in every other application except Touch Jams. I'm a computer tech by trade and the common factor is the software. No insult intended or anything. I'm certainly not a programmer, but I assume this is just an issue with newer hardware drivers not being supported(I assume you're working on that).
If anyone has some suggestions on things to try I'm open to giving them a shot.
If it helps, this is my BT/Wifi driver. Seems to be packaged together. "Qualcomm QCA61x4A/QCA6174A-XR/QCA9377 WiFi and Bluetooth Driver"

I had a similar situation. There were actually 2 settings to choose from for the bluetooth speaker in my case. One was Hands free and the other was headphones. I could not get any sound out of the headphone setting and handsfree produced poor sound quality. Once I disabled the handsfree mode in the sound control panel Touchjams played loud and clear through the headphone option. If both settings were enabled no sound would come through the headphone setting until the other one was disabled.

Or did you have to go to device manager and disable it from there? I'm going to feel pretty stupid if that does it, but also happy. I do think this BT speaker has a mic on it for calls. Hoping it does the trick. Thanks!
