Depends on the file format. If it's a MP4, simply use a tag editor, it's basically the same as MP3.

Thats a lot of stuffing around with 3500 video files. I downloaded a couple of editors u mentioned in the help file but they do not edit all mp4 formats it appears mp4 with H264 do not show in editor which nearly all my videos are. I tested some mp4 with mpeg compression and they able to be edited, but It would take weeks to re encode all my videos
The software i am using simply gets the "artist" and "Album" from the file structure EG
MyMusic/Roy Orbison/Black and White Night/ Pretty woman and other song from that album
So when scanned I get Artist = Roy Orbison, Album = Black and white Night, then the song title
Is something like that posible
Thanks Thomo

Does this text tag described in the manual work for videos
Tag Info Text File Another possibility to supply tag info to your music is by creating a tag info text file which pairs with your music file or video file. To set this up, you simply create a text file in the same folder as your music/video file and name it the same name as the music/video file. For example, say you have the music/video file called "C:\MySongs\311 - Welcome.MP3", you would create the text file "C:\MySongs\311 - Welcome.TXT", and the contents of this file should appear as:
