Is there any way to get touchjams to show symbols such as a slash /, quote marks" and question marks ? ect. Seeing many song titles with these symbols and touchjams just leaves a blank space. TIA!!

have you run MP3TAG to see whats listed under song title and artist rather than file name.

This is a Database/Windows restriction, as you can't use those symbols in either.
Try naming a folder in Windows with the symbol you want to use and you will see what I mean.

Great answer as always tonyneen. Didn't give that a thought. I was confused by the fact that using mp3 tag you could put the symbols in the title but not in the name. Your answer makes complete sense. My work around is using - for the /. Using '' for the ". And just not putting a ? at the end of song titles. Thanks Again!!

Why bother with symbols in song titles. All I do is type the title without any marks at all it makes life a lot easier

I forgot to follow up on this. I used the Character Map app to make changes to AC-DC to AC/DC with a different slash character. I also found a character that looked very much like a question mark and inserted that into some of my mp3's. However... after doing this the files (mp3's) appeared in TouchJams with the changes that I made but....they did not play. I got an Invalid message when trying to play any of the files that I had renamed with characters from the app. Luckily, for me I had not changed that many files before I found out. Changing file names back corrected the issue. This is NOT a TouchJams issue.
I hope I lead no one astray with the Character Map idea. I apologize if that is the case.
