I've read comments from people that use TouchJams in their own homes using coin acceptors. Not for revenue generation, but for true jukebox simulation.
I am building a jukebox that will be 100% touchscreen. I wish to be able to press a button/icon on the screen that, when pressed, generates credits in the way of an actual coin acceptor mechanism. Not for revenue generation, but for simulation. Why? Because I want my jukebox to act like a jukebox, and I actually put 50 cents into an ashtray when I play 8 songs.
It doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I don't think you can do what you want to do via the TouchJams interface, you could use a small keyboard/keypad and assign a keystroke in TouchJams to give you credits when you press a particular key. I use these to provide me with some "Remote" functions while i am away from the touchscreen.
NUMPAD 8 Volume Up NUMPAD 2 Volume Down NUMPAD 4 Balance Left NUMPAD 5 Balance Center NUMPAD 6 Balance Right RETURN Pause/Unpause NUMPAD 9 Mute Volume NUMPAD 7 Skip Song - Internal NUMPAD 1 Now Playing NUMPAD 0 Home UP (Scroll up) DOWN (Scroll Down)
This is one that i used in a Pub, the keypad was placed in an enclosure so only the WHITE keys were visible.

USB Thanks for the reply with the good suggestions. I may spring for a few more $$$ and get a single programmable key. www.amazon.com/s?k=small+usb+button&page=2&crid=12V4F9NRRT2AX&qid=1653270597&sprefix=small+usb+button%2Caps%2C116&ref=sr_pg_2I've got TouchJams running on a Windows 10 tablet I bought off of Facebook Marketplace and mounted into a stand that I designed and built. I could either add a keypad behind the tablet or a single key there, or mount the single key creatively. Or I could convert a keypad into some kind of assembly that matches the tablet stand. Whatever I end up doing, it will be something less than using a separate full sized Bluetooth keyboard, so your answer really was helpful.

Here's a solution to the original question("I wish to be able to press a button/icon on the screen that, when pressed, generates credits in the way of an actual coin acceptor mechanism."): 1) download/install latest BETA (released Sept 8, 2022): touchjams.com/Download/Beta/3.5.2.7/std/full/setuptouchjams.zip2) download NirCmd from NirSoft: www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html - the download is way at the bottom, choose the 32bit or 64 bit version 3) unzip the NirCmd zip file and put those files "somewhere" 4) start TouchJams, go to Options/System/Custom Command 5) in the Custom Command Button section: a) Enabled - check this b) Title - enter "Add Credit" or whatever c) Path - enter/browse to the path of nircmd.exe d) Parameters - enter "sendkey [key] press" (do not enter the double quotes), [key] is the keyboard mapping setup for Options/Revenue/Coins and Bills - keycode 6) exit out of Options You should now have an additional button on the main screen of TouchJams, it will be labeled whatever you entered in 5b above. Depending on your skin, you may have to reposition the command button, use the Skin Editor for this, the button command is "IDC_CUSTOM_COMMAND".
