Hello all! I purchased Touch jams about a month ago and am working on a DIY Jukebox build. As i'm adding albums i've noticed I can't add them in mass quantities? Am I doing something wrong or is the program not capable? I'm at almost 1,000 albums already and i've barely scratched the surface. Adding them one at a time is miserable. Any help would be appreciated. I will post my build in projects when it's done. Thanks!

Could be your anti virus, read this post, touchjams.proboards.com/thread/73/updating-library-extremely-slow-fixAlso could be low spec CPU. Also could be where the files are located, internal HD, external HD, USB stick or network. My average load of 60,000 tracks is between 15 to 20 minutes max, depending on CPU type/speed. Touchjams will load however many you throw at it !!!
Ah, put all your albums in 1 folder and make that your Touchjams library location

Thanks for the responses. I think the question was misunderstood but i think the very last line in tonyneen response was what I was looking for. It's a folder arrangement issue. I think my collection is over organised. I'm going to try a new folder hierarchy. Thank you for the assistance!

I use 1 ROOT folder called MUSIC and 2 SUB folders, 1 called AUTODJ and 1 called NONAUTODJ, the AUTODJ one is for tracks i want to use for background music and NONAUTODJ is for the tracks i don't want to use for background music. Point Touchjams to each of the 2 SUB folders, then you can change various settings on each SUB folder individually.
