Hello,
I have recently bought TouchJams jukebox program and following the automatic advise when registering the product I opted for the sort that activates via connecting the PC to the internet rather than manual activation.
I teach 50's Rock and Roll dancing (Jive) and I am also an armature Rock and Roll DJ.
The reason I bought the program was to recreate to some extent the way people used to listen to and dance to Rock and Roll in the early days (the 1950s). Therefor my plan was (and still is) to use TouchJams to allow the dancers at our record hops to choose their own music.
I got to know the software at home for 10 days and all was well. All the friends I showed it to were very impressed and so I was keen to try it in public. Unfortunately the first time I tried it in public was at a club where there was no WiFi and so I had no internet connection when the software decided it needed to check it was a valid copy. Remember I had already registered it and used it for 10 days at home. In fact most places I play as a DJ have no WiFi and no internet.
Is there a way of registering it once and for all on my laptop and stopping the need for it to continually check it is a valid copy? If the answer is no then I am sorry to say the software will be no good for me :-(

You can have TouchJams not check validation online. Have a look in the help file under FAQ, Manual Activation/Verification, Manual Activation. You will have to email Bob to reset the key to Manual Activation.

Thanks Tony, that sounds like a solution to my problem. Could I have Bob's email address please?

You would need to send me (support@touchjams.com) your TouchJams product key or email address used for purchase so that I can make adjustments to your key on the activation server. And then you would have to take some additional steps depending your particular situation (Internet connection, program already activated, etc.).
