New user of Touch Jams. Love it so far! I installed it on a Dell touchscreen, all in one computer. Works great.
I use the headphone jack on the PC to hook up to my Denon receiver. It sounds good… however, it doesn’t have the “punch” that I was hoping. Am I expecting too much? Anyone have any constructive suggestions to improve the sound? TIA!

Is there a difference between using a headphone jack and the audio output coming from sound card? I would think that they are 1 in the same - anyone know? Outside of that, I too am running a juke with a Denon amp. Not sure what you have for speakers, but I have 4x Klipsch speakers. I also have an AudioQuest DragonFly USB DAC and compared it to just using the audio out from sound card - I can tell no difference, but my hearing isn't what it used to be. As for "punch", there's plenty of that with my system.

Forgot to mention, is your music using lossless compression, such as FLAC? Disk space is cheap.

Most of the music is in FLAC format. I think I need to play around with the TouchJams equalizer. Thanks for your help!

I found that the Audio driver makes a big difference, Windows usually installs its own but the sound card/chip maker ( Realtek, Intel etc ) drivers usually give much better results for volume and clarity. Using the headphone jack into a Sony amp ( cant remember model ) into 2 Mordaunt Short speakers and plenty of volume now but with Windows driver it was a whisper in comparison.
