I have a genre of OTR. It stands for Old Time Radio. I made a 300 x 300 image, titled it OTR.jpg and eventually got it into the compressed GenreImages folder. When I go to select a Genre from the main screen, OTR still shows as just text in an empty box.
I tried creating an uncompressed GenreImages folder and pasted a copy of that OTR.jpg into that, and same thing....no image shows up for that Genre.
What am I missing?

The place to add genre images is C:\ProgramData\TouchJams\GenreImages, the new image will not show until you have tracks tagged with the genre you want to add. Also, the image name must be exactly the same as the genre tag (NOT case sensitive). In your case, OTR.jpg therefore the genre tag must be OTR

Then it should show up but it doesn't. My tags definitely have the genre 'OTR', and the 300x300 jpg 'OTR.jpg' exists in the GenreImages folder....but that is a compressed folder under the TouchJams folder in C:\Program Files (x86). I do not have any 'C:\ProgramData' folder.
It's a new-ish Windows 11 laptop.

OK, ProgramData is a hidden directory. I found this helpful.
It is generally not recommended to alter some system files-nevertheless.First of all
open File Explorer options from Control Panel
Then to View Tab.
Uncheck "Hide protected Operating system files" and click on "Show hidden files and folders"
Press Yes and then OK.
Then you will get a folder named ProgramData on C:/ drive itself.
I couldn't quite follow that exactly on my laptop, but once I got to a pane in File Explorer that had the 'view' option, I was able to select "more options" and set it to show hidden files/folders.
Thanks for your help.
