Hi All, I recently purchased this excellent software for my older Vietnam vet brother who has some cognitive issues and trouble dealing with his extensive CD collection. I have since digitized all 228 of his CDs and am currently tweaking the interface to best meet his needs with his own personal jukebox.
One feature I really like is Auto DJ, and I'd like to utilize it so that he can switch this mode on or off at will, but using only buttons on the display (no keyboard). I was hoping to create two buttons on the interface; Auto DJ ON and Auto DJ OFF. I got the Auto DJ ON button working using a VBScript called from a batch file that sends a function key command (key-mapped Auto DJ On and Start) back to the interface. I have the Auto DJ OFF key mapped and ready, but I see no obvious way to create a second command button in order to shut the mode off.
I noticed in the Skin Editor that there are two entries, one is IDC_CUSTOM_COMMAND and the other IDC_CUSTOM_COMMAND_2. Is there a way to set up this second custom command to create a second button on the interface? Or was this a planned future feature not yet implemented?
What I'm hoping to achieve:
Note: This photoshopped image is like totally fake.
By the way, I really like this software so I bought a license for myself
Thanks in advance for any input one can provide.

Looks like everything was implemented for the 2nd custom command except for the UI to configure it within the options. I wish I had implemented a key mapping for toggling Auto DJ on/off. Both of these options will go on the next version list.

I’m a new user and I’m getting “invalid “ messages when trying to play a tune. Can anyone help please?

Check that the track that is giving you the "invalid message" will play in another music player, could be a faulty track. If you are getting the "invalid message" for every track you try to play, confirm that you have updated your Library to the correct location where your music is located.

John, your question should be in a new thread.
