program update error and a couple of other things...

Hey guys, I finally have my setup for the most part.  One issue im having recently is when I open TJ and it checks for updates it errors out and suggests I get free downloads for life, and sends me to a page to download the newest version, which I have done twice.  I still get the same error.  I also uninstalled and reinstalled TJ to no avail.  Any help on that would be great.


A couple of other questions...I have a few billboard collections , like top 100 songs of 1985 and the like.  Is there a way to have those songs under that one title, and not appear under each artist?  I end up having like, one song under Patti Labelle, one song under Quarterflash, one song under the pointer Sisters, etc..


Also is there a way to restrict an artist from auto dj?  Auto dj picks 311 almost every single day within the first 5 songs or so.  I've changed percentages and all of that stuff.  But can I basically blacklist an artist as opposed to a genre or era?

You would have to email Bob regarding the update issue. Or even turn check for updates OFF.

Regarding your Billboard collections, Make sure ALL tracks have the Same ALBUM name and place them all in the same folder, also if you add ALBUM ARTIST to the tag, it will pick up individual track album art.

Regarding AutoDJ, i don't think you can "Blacklist an Artist", I use 2 libraries, 1 for AUTODJ tracks & 1 for NON AUTODJ tracks.
