When I queue up a number of songs it will play the first and second song fine and then it says it is playing the 3rd song but goes back to the 1st song I played. It does this all the time. I have to press stop and then play to play the song that is supposed to play.
This is super annoying as it just keeps repeating the same song even when there are plenty in the queue.
I also have auto dj off since I thought that might be the problem.
Any suggestions. At this point this software is not an option.

I have never had that happen too me, you could try the following,
SHUTDOWN TouchJams
DELETE TouchJams.db located in C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\TouchJams\db
UPDATE your music libraries and see if that makes any difference.
If it is doing it with the same tracks all the time, check your tracks play ok individually and check the tags.

I have had it happen when I try to adjust the cross fade.

*TOP TIP*
If you are using CROSS FADE, make sure ALL your tracks are LONGER than the CROSS FADE length, ie CROSS FADE set at 15 seconds, ALL tracks MUST be LONGER than 15 seconds. If you have SHORTER tracks in your library, you will have undesirable things happening. I use a 15 second CROSS FADE and remove ALL tracks SHORTER than 30 seconds.

I am having the same issue. I just started using this software about a month ago. I've tried running on XP and Windows 7 with same results. I have tried with my media stored on a NAS and stored on local hard drive (SSD). Same result. I have tried different settings within the Crossfade, turning Crossfade off (this led to every 3rd song being skipped completely) and using the default Crossfade settings. Same result. I have completely uninstalled several times. I have deleted and rebuilt the database. All mp3's are tagged correctly and I don't have any tracks shorter than 30 seconds. Aside from this issue, I really like this software and want to find a fix. Is there an older version of Touchjams I can try since this may be an issue that only affects the newer versions? I am using the latest stable version.

I have experienced this issue as well. It seems that it happens any time I open the Options menu. It will play 2 songs back-to-back over and over and will never advance to the rest of the Playlist. The only solution I've found is to restart the jukebox software.

Hey guys, I had this issue for the longest time. I have a thread on here somewhere about it.
Are you running your music library off of a external hardrive or flashdrive?

I also have had this happen. It always does it when adjusting the cross fade time in and out. There is a fine line in adjusting the crossfade settings that will trigger this to happen. I think I have found the balance that works. It has to do with how close to the end of the track and beginning of the next track you set the crossfade. I prefer it to be within 3 seconds of the end of the track playing and start 2 seconds into the next track so that there is no gap between songs and that they play in their entirety. This causes tracks to repeat. And yes all tracks are longer than 15 seconds. I am using the default settings which do not cause the repeat in track but does not give the result I am looking for in the crossfade settings

This may be purely coincidental but I tried everything I could think of from my last post to fix this issue and as a last resort decided to try a 64 bit version of Windows and now everything works perfectly. So I believe my problem was related to the 32 bit version of Windows somehow. I have not adjusted any of the crossfade settings so everything is currently at default settings but is working great for a couple months now.

Regarding issues with custom cross fader settings, it sure would be nice if a screen shot of the cross fader settings would be provided. As a developer, it's nice to have the "Steps to Reproduce", unless the issue is trivial. Also, the system timers (Options/System/Timers) settings should be included for cross fader related issues. Also, if a set of cross fader changes is causing issues, is the behavior repeatable? That is, does it happen every time? Is it song related? All good to know.
Thanks - Bob Matura

I noticed Bob if I cut the values in half from the default settings I can shorten the crossfade to start closer to the end of the playing track and come in sooner on the next and have it work with just an occasional hiccup.

I have started to get issue's with repeats, i did alter the crossfade to 50% of the default value in a attempt to hear the end of the song and the start of a new song, just so it flows without gaps etc.
Apart from that the Jukebox is working flawlessly. Very happy customer.

So i have done all of the above to try and fix the repeats , i might add that the shortest track i have on the system is 1min 58sec and the longest is a well know queen song lol. So deleted the db file and done a rescan and the repeats still present. So i disabled cross fade and the system is working flawlessly no repeats in sight. I would still like a way to as one song ends a new one starts ie you hear the last note of a song and you hear the first note of a new song. That been said despite this bug the software is fantastic and does most of what i could wish for. So thankyou to all involed in the product i'm still loving it.
