Greetings all... Ok I have a usb thumbdrive with 5 albums on it and that is all... Touchjams scans the thumbdrive and shows two of each album on the home screen total 10.. (Double) I have rechecked the albums and there are only 5.. They are organized like D:/ Grand funk Homecoming /all mp3s, then Kansas Masque/all flac, then Thompson Square/all mp3, etc... Its as basic a layout as you can get... The software scans goes out and gets the cover art ok but puts two images on the homescreen... all albums are true albums not a compilation of various songs. Where is touchjam pulling startup information from? Not sure what is going one.. Ideas???

Check your mp3 tags, sounds like there is something wrong with your album names. Also reset the database and rescan. Make sure the thumbdrive is the only drive in your library.

Think I found the problem... when looking at the drives to see where my songs were being pulled from by default it had selected C:/user/myname/public/public music and D:/ so when I removed the C drive option it scanned correctly . Im using a Windows 10 tablet for my jukebox interface... Thanks all and tonyneen for the response...

Hello Brainstrust, I am having the same issue with double albums appearing on the main screen. All of my music is stored on an external hard drive, I've tagged them, checked the settings in Touchjam and the external drive is the only source listed. I've removed the HDD from the source list and reset the music library. I've then shut down the computer and restarted it, re-adding the HDD and updating the library, with the same issues. It is only happinging with a few albums. What am I doing wrong?

Check your album names VERY carefully. ie in MP3TAG, select all tracks in the album you are have issues with and confirm that ALBUM NAME is the same for all tracks in that album.
Shutdown TouchJams. Delete ALBUM ART - C:\ProgramData\TouchJams\albumart Delete DATABASE - C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\TouchJams\db\TouchJams.db Restart TouchJams and reimport your music.
