If possible one setup file (similar to Windows Media Player) where touch jams has its own codecs for decoding audio, video and karaoke. This way touch jams can handle all its own decoding not relying on external codecs (klite).
I know it's just jukebox software, but it might give you an idea of what I mean if you look at virtual dj. When audio files play it has the ability to play mp4 files as a slide show (video ads) and handles video in the same way it handles audio.
When I was playing video files, then went to audio, two things I noticed was when video files play, on the main touch jams screen it doesn't show what's playing (under all the albums) or what's next. When audio plays, it comes back and shows again. Second, when video plays, the spectrum analyzer on the "now playing" screen disappears and is gone. Only the cover art for the video shows. I'm just assuming that's because whatever plays the audio files produces the spectrum, and whatever plays the video doesn't produce the spectrum.

That's just how it was coded from the start...that can change.
"Second, when video plays, the spectrum analyzer on the "now playing" screen disappears and is gone"
Again, that's just how it was coded from day 1. That spectrum * will * work with video.
As for the 1 setup with the codecs, TouchJams uses a 3rd Party library for audio/video, and that 3rd Party company uses K-Lite for the video codecs. I have absolutely ZERO control over this. As for packaging the codecs with the TouchJams setup, maybe it could be done, I'd probably have to ask for permission, etc., but really....why? Is it that big of a deal for people wanting to play video to grab K-Lite separately? For people who don't care about video, why force them a larger download? And, K-Lite comes in all different kinds of flavors, which one would I include?
