We need a REAL World credit option.
As for coin, an unique variable.
As for bill, another unique variable.
It must allow different settings, like:
3 credits = 1 song 5 credits = 2 songs (bonus) 10 credits = 5 songs (bonus) 20 credits = 10 songs
Here in Chile we use for coins: $100 and $500 pesos.
As for bills: $1000, $2000, $5000, $10000 and $20000.
See why we need more options?
In this site you can find excellent examples, and even source code!

From my experience, the bonus that you want can only be achieved by using a hardware solution, some kind of "Totaliser" (https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/Credit-Board-For-Coin-Mechanism.html) (https://spares.udc.co.uk/SPCC0012)
The above are what are used in Arcade cabinets.
I use a Money Controls SR3E (CCTalk interface) to (https://jukeblaster.com/coinkit.html) to TouchJams. I don't use a bonus feature as it was to complicated for me to get working. I use, £1.00 for 3 Credits £2.00 for 6 Credits

Actually, isn't really a bonus at all. Is just a way to put it. In reality is just a discount.
"I use,
£1.00 for 3 Credits £2.00 for 6 Credits"
That will never works here. As $100 pesos here is just £0.11. See the difference?
And why to buy more HW while this can be done on software easily ?
Even that HW "solution" doesn't works, as the program only have 1 single input (coin, or bill, but not both).

Hi, I'm not aware of a software only way to do this. I looked for a solution for over 6 months, with no luck.
All the Jukebox software that i have come across rely on KEYSTROKES to add credits. (Including TouchJams)
Have a look at this picture and it will make things a bit clearer for you.
No software can communicate with a Coin/Bill validator DIRECTLY, there has ALWAYS got to be some type of hardware in between.

Tony, you are correct with the hardware interface. As for wanting the "bonus" as described above, you can achieve this within TouchJams right now if you can use the "Pulse Increment" option with the hardware interface.
What's missing within TouchJams right now is Pulse Increment supporting multiple keystrokes, right now only one key can be used.
