Hi team, is it possible to get the cross-fade to work with videos like it does with audio? If not, is it possible at all to get this feature added or is it not possible at all?

It is amazing how this question is not answered and I posted it since July 13th. I am a customer who bought the software but I can't even get a reply from the developer for over 2 months. Is it that difficult to respond to people like me who support the software?

I'm in the same boat you are. Purchased the software and can't get a response from the developer which makes me think that the software is dead. Not worth purchasing copies when you can't get any answers on it.

Just a thought Carlton and this was one of my suggestions, that the development team take a look at the capability of VirtualDj by Atomix, look at the codecs that they use for video/karaoke/music crossfading and incorporate it into touch jams. There are several issues with passing video through klite, one of them is no crossfading, second is it causes issues with autoplay, and lastly, when a user adds video into the Playlist on top of audio the now playing at the bottom of the jukebox goes away when the video plays, along with the spectrum on the now playing screen if you have second monitor enabled.

Hi, first of all i would like to introduce myself, My name is Tony and i run Touchjams in a commercial enviroment, i have purchased 4 licences for the software as i found it's the best there is out there !! I have done alot of testing for Bob over the last 12 months, and i have found him very, very helpful. I think if you had a "BUG" rather than a "REQUEST" Bob would be in touch right away !! He may have stuff going on in the "REAL" world....
Cheers Tony

So Tony, Bob customers who also bought his software are not in the real world? We did not pay with real money? I would buy 10 licenses if Bob would even respond to requests. What is wrong with telling your customer that the feature is not possible or that he has no intention of add the feature. How much effort would it take to type a one sentence response? We are not zombies behind a keyboard, we are humans.

Carlton,
Sorry for the late response here, regarding your initial question with x-fader and videos, I really did take your post as more of a feature request than an urgent bug issue (which do get handled immediately). X-fading with videos is not implemented within TouchJams. TouchJams uses a 3rd Party library for: playing audio, playing video, audio visualizations, and a few other things. This 3rd Party library supposedly supports x-fading with video, but I have chose not to go down this route because the 3rd Party library has for many years had some issues with playing video in general on certain machines. Throughout the years I have repeatedly been in contact with the 3rd Party Library tech support trying to make things better, but it appears that they will just not budge, on anything.
At this moment, and I can't give out a lot of details, but I'm hoping to make a large announcement by end of this year.

Thank you Bob for the response. The reason I am so passionate about the subject is because I think you have a great software that I really enjoyed using. For most of your customers x-fade for video is not a feature they require. For me it's a big issue because I have a big video collection. I totally understand your position. I will keep my fingers crossed that one day it could be implemented then I can make Touchjams my go to software for my media center. All the best to you.
Regards,
Carlton
